Birthday party!!!

wohoo! i had a totally awesome and wonderful evening yesterday.. after work.. stayed back at east coast.. waiting for my sis and her bf to come pick me up to attend martin loo's and Ming Ren's birthday party.. initially, i was a little half hearted. cuz i dunnoe many people there.. but it's ok.. i still have my sis and her bf to accompany me.. when we reached there.. there were quite a lot of people aldy.. so we just stood at a corner looking at martin and his friends fool ard.. haha.. but after tt, i started taking pics using martin loo's new camera.. it's really fun taking pics of others! and ya.. i was the official PHOTOGRAPHER for a while.. heh.. and tt was how i made a lot of new friends too! Ivan, Ricky, dahliah, Jack, Ming Ren, Andrew, Leow b, Gerald, Emil.. and some others whose names i really cannot recall.. :P so ya.. we played like 5/10.. and drank.. Emil played my guitar.. and we had fun composing new but silly songs (not realy us.. it was Emil actually).. and Emil and Gerald can sing really well can?! thereafter.. i also went to take a stroll to the beach with gerald and ivan.. and we had a really good chat.. they're all really nice pple.. :) i'm so glad tt within a night, i managed to make so many fantastic new friends.. :) anyway.. till 4am.. we were all really tired.. so we all went to bed.. ming ren, sis, and andrew shared a bed.. ivan, emil and i shared another.. martin had one to himself.. and gerald and leow b shared another.. haha.. and throughout the whole night.. frankly speaking.. i didnt sleep very well.. not only it was cold initially (although ivan was really nice.. he kept making sure tt i was covered by the blanket and so forth).. oh yes.. besides feeling cold, also.. (i hate to mention names but) martin, emil, ivan (i think tt's all) were like snoring can?! haha.. martin and emil was consistenly snoring througout the night.. ivan was on and off.. it was like (wad i call) an orchestra of snores.. (i must mention.. at a certain point of time, though i was asleep.. but i could hear the synchronised snores) lol.. when i got woken up by tt.. i almost laugh out loud.. hahaha.. kk.. so much for snores.. the next morning, we had to clear the mess and clean up the place.. it's DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY.. but thank goodness those of us who were awake early managed to clear up most of the mess.. okie dokes.. that's all for today.. gonna go slp soon.. though not after going to NTUC with mum to do some grocery shopping first.. :(

Results

The result for the blood test done last sat was out.. low platelet count. it was 122 million per millilitre of blood. so the doctor got me to do another test today. and the result's out in the evening. It was 125 million per millilitre of blood. only a slight increase of 3 million per millilitre of blood. erm.. ya.. considered as bad news.. the doctor wanted me to go down to the clinic to do another test for the 3rd timee. but i cant. cuz i'm working. i've aldready made an exception to go down to my centre late.. cuz the doc's only in at 0930. dun think my HOD will be happy if i were to do that again tmr. so i'm not going for the third time. i'll just have to monitor my own temp and should i not feel well again.. i'll then go see the doc.. i've read up in the internet about low blood platelet count. Platelet levels vary from person to person, but are usually between 150 and 400 million per millilitre of blood. but mine's kinda way below the normal count. but it's ok.. i'll just have to take good care of myself. when my dad comes back then i'll let him know and see what he has to say. but i bet.. tmr when he calls home.. or even when my mum calls over.. she'll definitely tell him abt it.. i shall see how la.. if there are any complications, i'll go see the doc immediately... meanwhile.. just gotta pray hard that it's not anything serious..

horrible week

had a really horrible week this week.. for the first time in my life.. i had a fever (not accompanied by flu) that comes and go for consecutively 4 days.. just went to the doctor again just now.. (consulted her the last time was only on tuesday) and she couldn't figure the reason for the fever to keep coming and going. so she took my blood to do a blood test. results will be out by monday.. she said the only thing to test for is for dengue/malaria and so forth.. i'm praying hard it's nth more than that. i know my parents and sisters are worried. but.. there's nth else i can do. except to pray. just now, though i agreed to let the doc take my blood. but do u noe, i'm super scared. at first, the doc couldn't really see the vein on my left arm, so she kept hitting (gently) till she could see it. but after poking the needle in, she took it out again saying that that's too little blood. so she hit (gently) my arm again, and found another vein a little further away from the previous "poke". and yea. she poked the needle in again. though there was blood, but then again, she said, "hmm.. how come there's so little blood". she kept trying to "suck" (spare me of the terms used. i'm not a medical student. so i dun really know the proper terms used) it out by pulling the top part of the syringe again and again. though painful. but i have to endure. there's nth much i can do about it anyway. right. i got to go. cheers. 

sick

haizz.. woke up this morning at 6am. only to find out tt i've fallen sick and my whole body was aching. took my own temp. 38.3 deg. my my.. i hate to miss today's class.. it's one of my fave class. i know i shouldnt show preference to any children.. but.. both the morning and afternoon class for the tues/thurs class has got superb class dynamic. both the children and the parents and main caregiver are very spontaneous and sporting. i enjoyed the class so much to the extend tt when it's time to say goodbye, i always cant bear to see them (the children) leave. anyway.. took my temp at 10am just now.. shot up to 39 deg. i was like.. shit.. i felt really really weak and uncomfortable.. but i'm alone at home.. so no choice, gotta get dressed and go down to the doctor myself. thank god that the clinic was only below my block. a CD shelter. but as much as i'm SO NOT FEELING WELL.. i HAD to WAIT like for at least half an hour for the doctor lor.. i was at the verge of crying aldy.. cuz i'm feeling so cold (despite wearing a jacket), lonely, and weak. haizz.. i thank god, now tt i've taken some food and the medicine, i'm feeling ALOT better. since the doc gave me 2 days MC, i might as well make good use of it, to rest at home and get plenty of slp and finish up my assignment. ok. going back to sleep now. cheerios.

Daryl's 21st Birthday Bash-- The Nerds' Bash

heh.. yesterday evening, i attended Daryl's 21st Birthday bash at his house. it was uber fun! made a lot of new friends and met some old friends.. and guess what.. i dun belong to any of the group of friends whom he'd invited. i'm Not from Zhonghua Sec. Not from ZhongHua's SJAB. Not from VJC. Not from NUS either. but i'm still invited. cuz i'm chuiyee's sister. yes. he is chuiyee's SJAB friend. but.. i know quite a number of pple from SJAB ZhongHua. and i knew Daryl and the SJAB friends since sec sch.. i mean.. come on manz.. we're like one of the few triplets in singapore. so usually.. if my friends or my sisters' friends found out tt we're triplets, they'll want to see us too.. tt's why sometimes, i cant hlp but to feel like a piece of exhibition. haha.. but tt's fine.. cuz i get to make a lot of new friends too.. so ya.. back to yesterday's party.. i was REALLY glad tt i went. and most of them dun refer me as chuiyee's sister.. initially, yes. but after a while, people start coming up to talk to me or vice versa, they all regard me as who i am. and i REALLY APPRECIATE that.
