Great Eastern Run goodie bag collection

hee.. i'm actually quite excited about the upcoming Great Eastern Run that's gonna be on the 26th Oct 2008. Though i haven't been training very hard.. but it's ok.. it's the experience that counts.. anyway.. back to the topic.. Liyi, Chui san and I went to Millenia walk to collect our goodie bag yesterday after work. There wasnt a crowd at all. Cuz it was almost 8pm. san and i have no problem collecting ours. But Liyi have problem collecting hers and her friends'. therefore we were ushered to the help desk. So while we helped Liyi to settle her bag, she went back to the (Authorization - on behalf of friends') booth to help her friends with their bags. while waiting, for Liyi's bag, there was this lady who was walking towards the help desk where sis and i were standing at, and started scolding the people at the booth. "This is RIDICULOUS!!!.. I signed up at the roadshow.. but what is this about not being able to find my particulars?!" so i carried my bags and guitar aside while looking on, on how the people settled the situation.

Finally.. after a long wait, we all got our bags. And Liyi and san were super hungry. so we went to 'Changing Appetite' at Marina Sq and got the super comfy seats. we ordered 2 main dishes and shared the portions. and also ordered a cup of super yummlicious Oreo Cookie milkshake ice-cream drink. slurp! just the thought of it make me crave for the milkshake again.. lol.. thereafter, we made our way down to raffles place to Liyi's office. Her office's damn nice can?! but oh well.. it's a bank. so what do u expect? of cuz it's nice. not the kind of bank, bank. But, it's the HQ of a local bank. And her floor's the trading floor. so yea. anyway, we went there to ddeposit Liyi's friends' goodie bags. it's impossible for her to carry it home all the way from town anyway.

New experience

right. to many, maybe this is nth as compared to their experiences. but to me, it's kind of a big breakthrough. WHy? cuz now i know, i can do things on my own, even without my sisters or friends. today's my off day. and since there's nth else to do at home besides the usual housework, i decided to go down to the beach at sentosa ALONE. I know what's gg thru your mind now.. the word BORING. but! no choice what.. all my friends are either studying or working on a fri morning. so i had to go alone. and yes. i did make my way down alone. was thinking of backing out. but.. i really wanted to have a tan after so long.. i forgot when was the last time i went sentosa with my girlfriends for a tanning session aldy.. cant stand it when i'm (not say very, but quite) white. There wasnt a lot of people. though there were a few crowds gathering at where i laid my ground sheet, but, i got a good spot where the sun is nice and strong just right above my head. Think i stayed for about 2 hours. So the tan may not be very obvious. But at least, i've tried smth out which i thought i never would. and yea.. the next time round, i'll try to arrange it with other friends la.. then it's not so boring. didnt manage to take any photos as it didnt come across my mind.. and though i do love to photo whore alone at times.. but i certainly will not choose to do it in the middle of the beach whilst tanning alone. :)

bad fall...

haizz.. ya.. just like the clumsy me.. last sat.. my class celebrated hari raya.. so i put on this baju kurung borrowed from my colleague's wife.. and as u can see.. i'm pretty short and petite.. hence.. the costume is a little too long for me.. but i have no choice.. it comes in a set.. i cannot just wear the top and not the bottom.. and here's how the story goes..

it was during outdoor play when we had indoor play instead.. i was playing and kicking the balloons with my kids when i lost my footing when i stepped on the back of my baju and slipped and fell on my bottom. unlike my kids. i DO NOT have diapers to cushion my fall. as a result, my tailbone have been hurting quite a bit for the past few days since tt incident. the only comforting thing at the moment of embarassment that day was that one of my kid gave me a big hug ( a comforting one) when i was in pain.. and ya.. with my lead teacher not helping at all.. she was sitting at a corner laughing at me.. lol.. i was laughing too.. cuz it was damn funny.. and i was in the middle of the class can?! with all the parents and children surrounding me.. haizzz.. nvm.. thereafter.. despite the pain.. i still had to play the guitar for the music session.. haizz... clumsy me.. i swear i am NEVER EVER gonna wear a BAJU that LONG AGAIN. period.


and yea.. that's all for the updates.. oh yes.. TUZI (from the superband competition) won!!! i'm so proud to say that one of the member.. the lead singer Sarah Lam's from my cell group. haha.. so proud of her.. went to support her a few times at the tv station.. it quite an experience.. anyway, congrats to u! babes! :)

Hi all.. i am so sorry if i have caused anyone any misunderstanding.. i mean.. hehe.. i know for one of my recent entries, the one titled (Results) were really scary.. guess i was just a little too paranoid abt the condition (as it was the first time i had such condition). cuz i had quite a number of friends whom after reading my blog asked me if i'm alright and so forth. I would like to take this opportunity to tell all my loved ones that I 'M FINE. *BIG SMILE*
