New netbook!

hurray!!! daddy bought for me a netbook from the PC show yesterday!!! now, i can carry it around, use the net, chat, web cam with darling wenyao and do my assignment. :) so sorry for the short post. will update more soon. :)

PRAISE THE LORD!!!! my darling's FINALLY off the sling and is able to play the guitar and the keyboard, and can do everything! except to regain the power on his right arm to do things such as pushing/pulling glass doors, to carry heavy-weight stuff etc. anyway, i really thank God that there were no complications or whatsoever. Thank you all for praying once again. :)


That said, now, or prob not so soon, dearie and i can start gg cycling, go ard shooting with his cam.. *BIG SMILE* and so forth. :) hmm.. what else happened during this period of time? hmm.. oh ya! a few days ago, dar and i met up with one of his best friend, Joy, to do some catching up. She left for HK to do her exchange prog at NTU a couple of months ago. and now she's back. according to her, shopping's not bad, she bought quite a lot of stuff? and she went ard window shopping for camera stuff. she and darling have a lot in common. i told darling tt both of them are very compatible lor.. =P but of cuz, i will not, and will never allow anyone to take my darling away from me, except if it's God's will. anyway, she's also into cameras, and! she's a HUGE FAN of Mac. =) so, we were playing with dar's MacBook Pro, 17-inch. =) thou there were alot of things which they were talking about that i dun really understand? but, oh well.. nvm.. it's their common topic anyway.. well at least after tt, Joy and i were sharing our own experiences we had with our sch kids? haha.. btw, Joy's mummy's a pre-sch teacher too! =)

But i must say tt i like Joy very much! She's a very nice and sincere girl. love e way she shakes herself when in frustration? (ok. i better stop writing abt her like tt, else it's gonna sound so wrong. LOL. i am toally straight--this i must say. hahaha) oh! oh! and she's funny too! she talks to her keyboard (she plays e keyboard too =) ) and her macbook! LOL.. funny girl.. =P

Today's the first time i kinda oversee and run the children's church's sunday prog alone, tog with a team of fellow ministry workers without Mr Chow. Not bad. not bad. thou i screwed up a little in the front part? but it's alright. everyone learn from their mistakes isn't it? =) but i must really thank the Lord for giving me the wisdom to teach the children about today's lesson in my own class. i didnt really teach during the coperate or sub coperate time cuz i was not rostered to do any coperate teaching up front. but i must thank the team for such great team work and most importantly, i thank the Lord for such a great team! Thank You Jesus! =)

After church, geraldine, simin, chuisan, Jin Ming and myself attended the annual Global Day Of Prayer (GDOP) held by Faith Community Batist Church (FCBC) @ the Singapore Expo's Max pavilion @ 3pm. This yr, there was a Youth segment @ 3pm. so we decided to go after church. couldn't attend the 7.14pm session cuz sis and i gotta go home for dinner. =) I had a great time praising and worshipping the Lord and praying for the nation(s), families, youths from our generation, the government; s'pore and worldwide. it ended at abt 5pm? i think. didnt really take note of the time. reached home at abt 6 plus? coming 7pm. =)


Gotta meet up with darling and Joy again this Thurs. Since i'll be mtg them this thurs, will take e opportunity to finish up my assignments -- both Science and Tech module's 2nd assignment (almost finishing, thou dateline's on June 15th) and start on my play curriculum's assignment, study for my play curriculum's exam; which is on the 4th July, and do up the Children's church's annual retreat's booklet, and RUN! havent been running for quite some time. I MUST RUN. getting rounder day by day. Bah! =p anyway, it's getting late. gotta go do QT then go to slp. gdnite pple (whoever's reading this) :) take care and have a Blessed week ahead! Counting my Blessings..

Blessing Number 1:

This morning, i forgot to bring along my umbrella to work, and thinking that since i have a big umbrella in my centre.. i have no idea why the silly head of mine didnt think that i will ever get caught in the rain and will be left stranded at the bus stop without an umbrella if it really does rain. so what happened was, i REALLY got caught in the rain on my way to work! so i upon reaching e bus stop which i was supposed to alight, i stood up from my seat and walked foward. i was at the upper deck. by that time, the bus's pretty empty. just then! smth caught my eyes! guess what?! an UMBRELLA! imagine! think! what are the chances someone will leave their umbrella on the bus when it's pouring like mad? anyway, i slowly (very naturally) sat down, took the umbrella and got off the bus. before that, i was praying for the rain to stop. however, thou it did not stop? but God blessed me with an Umbrella! Praise the Lord! 

Blessing Number 2:

Darling is on his way to recovery! Wohoo!!!! thank you all for ur prayers! most importantly, THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!! Thou he's got ulcer on his tongue now? but at least, the fever's long gone already! Wohoo!!!! Praise God!!!!!!

Blessing Number 3:

My iphone case is offically closed. My friend decided to transfer to me 1.6K out of his own pocket. I feel bad, yes. But it was partly his fault too. But! he is a GREAT friend! He was trying to help me to contact that swindler girl, Ash, to get our money back! But, now that everything's solved for my side, i'm gonna think of ways to get the girl to pay my friend.

Wohoo!!! Darling and i finally found a pair of couple ring for the both us which we both saw it online. thou we did not buy the one we saw online, and bought the one off the shelves, but we both still liked it after browsing thru many others. We went to The Cathay to buy it. The store's on level 2. And the best thing is that when paying for it, the shop assistant then told us that the rings are going at 50% discount! Thank you Jesus! we wanted to get smth unique but not too ex? so here it is! haha.. i was so happy that i couldnt stop smiling.. lol.. darling's always very amused by me whenever i keep smiling.. haha.. but with that, he knows that i'm really really happy. But i did tell him that i love him not cuz he bought us a pair of couple rings? but cuz i truely love him from the bottom of my heart. I very much want to slot in the picture of of rings on my blog. but my camera's with my friend who's overseas currently, and my own camera phone's not functioning properly. so yea.. so i cant take any pictures at the moment. cuz the pic was not reflected online, as told by wenyao. so i'll need to wait for a while before taking the pic and upload it on my blog sometime next week or smth. :) that's all for now! BIG SACRIFICE.. BUT I LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT.. :)

i woke up at 5am this morning (4th April'09) to get ready for work. however, today's a little different. i woke up so early just so that i can reach TTSH earlier to spend more time with darling. All the way after i've woke up, i was feeling so excited and happy that i can go meet my darling after one day of his op. have been waiting so anxiously the day before for his bro's, wenhan's update about him. i kept praying and praying. 

anyway, i managed to get on a cab at about 5.30am. by the time i reached TTSH, it was about 5-ish gg 6am. when i reached the ward, i was like, oh..my..God! the doors were closed! what makes me think that the public can go in and out to visit patients as and when they want? so i sat down outside the ward, and prayed hard that nurses will come out of the wards. then i can get them to open the door for me. thou i've pressed the button twice to ask for assistance? but no one came to the door. But! God is good! he answered my prayer and i didnt have to wait long when 2 nurses came out to buy drinks at the vending machine from the oppposite ward and i got one of the nurse to open the door for me. Thank God i was allowed in! so i went in, but kinda got lost.. silly me.. anyway, finally, i managed to get to his ward. he was sleeping. snoring a little as well... lol.. i tried not to laugh out loud. 

anyway, as i was putting down my bag and placed the box, and hamster white board and the note i wrote for him, i froze for a min. cuz darling fidgeted! lol.. a little dunnoe how to respond if he really sees me. and ya, true enuff, he woke up.. so me being quick thinking, just immediately said "hi dear" and smiled. dunnoe why but i was afraid that he might have the impression that it might be a dream that i was there in the morning? that's why, after saying hi to darling, i touched his arm and he touched my face just so that he knows that i am really there. :P 

at that very moment, i was so so so happy and glad that i get to see my darling.. thou not a very nice place to be in, but, i love him so much that i dun mind sacrificing my sleep and wake up much earlier just to go visit him beofre heading down to work. i.. almost cried when i thought i saw his expression when he saw me? i thought i could feel that he was in SO much pain and it was almost unbearable. my heart hurts every time he tells me that he is in pain. thou pple may think that.. aiya.. this is still very new to us and we r still in the honeymoon period? but i choose to believe that all that i'd done for my darling wenyao are purely out of love, from the bottom of my heart. 

after class/work, i went down to wenyao's place. he was discharged by the time i knocked off. it took me only about at most an hour to make my way down to his place from east coast. initially, i was pretty nervous. firstly, i wast sure if i remembered how to walk to his place from the bus stop, 2ndly, i wasnt sure if i can interact and get along well with his relatives. however, when i reached kranji station, i told myself, U MUST NOT TAKE CAB. SAVE THE MONEY!!! so i didnt! haha.. and i could recognise my way ard! Thank you Jesus! :) 

Had quite a lot of fun with his nieces and nephews and chatting with darling's cousins at his place. Think they have quite good impression of me? hee.. but darling forgot to tell them my name while introducing me to the extended family. i am known as his girlfriend. lol.. but there were a couple of his aunties who came up to me and asked for my name. which is not a bad thing afterall. :)
