without my darling beside me physically.. has been quite good. and it's really by the grace of God. I am so so so thankful that i have our mighty Father in heaven to lean back on and to turn to. and also, my mum, sisters, and church friends. :)
Broke down a few times while i was in the shower during the first few nights. But after that, later that night, or the next morning, when i do my QT, i felt much much better.
These few days, after work, i'll go straight home. Couldnt concentrate on my assignment thou. but i tell myself, i have to concentrate and score well. For the sake of God, daddy, mummy, darling and myself. So, i managed to start a little bit of my assingment last night.
Today, after work, i'm gg home to pack the swimming stuff, then head down to yang's place (condo)for a swim. havent got the mood to get down to run. so a swim would be good. must swim at least 7 laps. :) swimming with yee of course. after that, we'll go up to yang's place to play with his baby niece! she's super cute! :) then, we'll probably go have dinner tog, then go watch a movie.
Gonna meet up with my classmate Caihua tmr. since e botth of us are not working. Before gg down to church by 6pm to meet Doreen to discuss about what time to meet for our 1st mentoring session. oh yes! except my sis, i havent really told anyone else tt she has accepted me as her mentee. :) Will want to work on my biblical knowledge and on darling and my relationship. it's always good to have someone to be accountable to. :)
okay.. shall stop here for now.. bye people..
to my dearest darling,i love you and miss you tremendously. but God is good! He has been sustaining me for the first week well. and i totally place my trust in Him that darling and I will work out despite the distance, and to God be the Glory! Amen? Amen. :)

Ting
Every moment that i live, your Mighty hand is doing wonders for me. Amen!

The time has come...
Finally. 16th Aug 2009. my darling has departed from Singapore to the States. but! at 2358, i received a call from an unknown number.
Me: Hello?
Unknown: Hello.
Me: Hello? may i know who's this speaking?
Unknown: erm.. someone from the airplane?
Me: Darling!!! oh my goodness! what..
darling: mummy called dad saying that they got lost.
and the conversation continued for a short while. shall not reveal all.. :p
know why? cuz apparently, there were some errors. so their flight was delayed for another 1-2 hours. right. so now, i'm waiting for dear's call. he's supposed to give me a missed call. :p nvm. maybe he's busy. :)
Today, i was very strong. not by my own strength? but by God's strength. Met up with darling at 8am at KAP macs. before walking down to the market near church to meet Aaron for breakfast. It has always been a tradition for Aaron and dear to meet up on sunday mornings for breakfast before they go for the 1130 service. :) After church, dear went to meet his parents and bro at his 3e's place near Bukit Timah. while i.. make my way home.
At ard 4 plus, made my way down to dear's hse for dinner from home. packed his room, while he do some last minute packing and checking. Then, we had a wonderful home-cooked meal prepared by his mum. *slurp* the steamed fish and duck stew were superb! :)
After that, we load all the luggages into the car, and his dad drove down to the airport from their place. Shortly after we've reached there, some of his friends arrived. Before we knew it, many others arrived too. we were busy chit chatting, taking pictures and praying. It was fun actually! this was like the happiest farewell at the departure hall tt i'd ever came across! :)
although i did teared a little cuz of Aaron (but i totally understood why. He and dear are really close). anyhow, i stayed strong and with the support of his CG, mum, church friends and Peter Chew, and of cuz! God! i wasnt feeling as bad as i thought i would feel. :p
Thank you everyone for your presence! very very heartwarming to see the church leaders, church friends, dear's best buddies, and army friends to come see him off. very very nice of them. :)
Darling will be changing plane and boarding again at ard 0100 thereabout? in the meantime, i've just spoken to him over the phone. all's well. his only concern is tt his dad's feeling hungry. cuz his dad only had porridge during dinner. hopefully they board on the plane soon. :) and i shall listen to dear and go to bed soon. gotta work tmr. and after work, i will go back to my running routine and continue with my assignment. :) ciaoz people!
May the love of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be with you and forevermore. Amen! goodnight! :)
p.s. i love you darling. :-*

prayer...
Prayer:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Indeed Father, You are the God almighty. The God above all things on earth and in heaven. Let us live each day for You. To give You praise and honour during the good times and bad. For You are the master of all things. You paint for us a picture and plan for us a plan meant for us. Let Ypur will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We give You thanks for all that You have given and provided for us. We give You thanks for all the trials we had gone through in life. We give You thanks. Father i prayer Lord father, that as wenyao leave for the states this coming sunday, i pray Lord Father for journey mercy. I pray Lord Father for a blessed and memorable day he can spend with his CG, church friends, family and myself before he flies off to the states. I pray for journey mercies as we all travel to the airport, and as he flies off at 2330 with his dad. transtioning from London to Chicargo and eventually to Purdue University. I pray Father, that he is able to adapt to the weather, the culture, the people and the timing there. I pray that he'll be able to buy all that he needs for his hall room, and i pray for god and godly people whom he can trust and work well with. I pray for good health and good weather as he is over in the states. I thank you Father for the scholarship that You have provided for him. I pray for wisdom, strength and energy as he studies, and i pray for a good church and good mode of transport as he travel around during the weekends. I pray that both dear and i are able to keep close to You and each other despite the time difference and the distace. Father, let not these be a hindrance to the both of us. Instead, we may be able to grow even closer to each other and not distant away from each other and from You. Keep us close to You, mould us into what You want us to be, so that we may glorify Your kingdom and Your name, and help us to continue to be good living testiomonies in Your eyes. In Jesus' name i pray, Amen.

darling wenyao's farewell party 250709 and 260709
250709:
in exactly 3 weeks from now, darling will be flying off to the states. Faith CG, myself and Joyce (Nic's gf) gathered together at Terrance's condo to throw a farewell party for dear. i thought i might be emotional and break down and cry. BUT! i DID NOT! :)
darling always tells me not to cry. he always reminds me that he's not leaving me. just leaving me to another place for a SHORT while. true true. i agree. so there's no need to cry. yes, he does leave with a heavy heart. but, it has always been his wish to go abroad to study. and the only way to do that is with a scholarship. so, God is good! He provided for darling, financially. His parents are willing to pay for his education till Uni? but that's provided he studies in a local U. so, now in his case, he scored extremely well and by the grace of God, he managed to clinge a DSTA scholarship (overseas scholarship), so why not? God has provided an opportunity for him! :)
anyway, darling and i arrived at Ter's condo near Hume Ave at abt 5 plus. Jack, Doreen, Jun wei, Stanley and Terrance were aldy there. So since all of us were free, we all decided to keep ourselves occupied with a game of "Saboteur". yeah.. it was my FIRST time playing it. So is darling. BUT! in midst of playing the game, i was stuck! i mean, not literally lah. i was blocked frm building more paths. so no choice lor. i had to play cards tt i didnt want to play. in the end, i confused everybody. sometimes making them thought tt i was the Saboteur, sometimes, they thought tt i was the gold digger (there are only 2 types of characters in this game). lol.. they couldnt guess at all!
Eventually, Benita, Adam, Sam Chen, Amanda and Nic arrived. By the time they came, Jack and Ter have aldy started preparing the BBQ pit. :) In any case, we all had fun eating, drinking (Wine) and chatting. :)
After that, we went to the Condo's Karaoke room to chill out a while and played a game of Taboo! At the end of the night, everybody added a new word to our personal English Dic: Maxi Pad. hahahaha.. shall not go into that. not healthy. lol.. no lah.. i am just too lazy to type.. lol..
After that, Adam sent darling, benita (his gf) and myself home. rather, he sent Benita and wenyao hm and sent me to the bus stop at KAP area. :)
That's so much for the 25th.
260709:
darling, myself and a group of others met at 10am to have breakfast before the 1130 service. we had a good time of fellowshipling with each other. Worship service was good. Sermon was on Living Significant Lives by Preacher Moses Lim. :) I was reminded yet again to trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6 and darling's fave verse, Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
After service, a group of us headed down to Aunty Chin Ching and Uncle Jimmy's condo at Hillview. Aunty Chin Ching had graciously opened up her place and whipped up an excellent meal to serve us as well as taking this opportunity to gather the church's band (worship team) to throw wenyao a farewell party as well. :)
We had so much fun chatting and sharing a verse each to encourage darling. and then, it led on to a long discussion about choosing of hymes and songs for worship service and sunday school children.
Thereafter, darling and i made our way down to town to buy his stuff from Sony and settled down at e starbucks beside wheellock to do some readings, which eventually, we were both viewing and deciding on what car to buy when he comes back 4 yrs later. hee.. e whole day has been a really fun day! everyone in Glory are so heartwarming and friendly! and plus i'm pretty close to his CG mates. so i have no problem moving ard in church even after he leave for the states next month. :)
ok.. gtg. there's work and night class tmr. cya ard! have a blessed week ahead!
p.s. Have you met Him today? :)

First day at Glory Presbyterian Church -- 19th July 2009
was excellent! met up with dear and friends which includes Benita, Big Dom, Michelle, Aaron, Vanessa, Nicholas and two other whom erm.. i do not know their names. cuz it was my first time mtg the 2 others.. heh.. anyway, breakfast was HILARIOUS!!!
Big Dom and i were eating our breakfast (we were sitting opposite each other) while chatting when all of a sudden, "plop!" a drop of bird shit dropped in between Dom's and my plate! Oh My Goodness! we were shocked! we looked at each other, then looked up! NOTHING! must be a passing-by birdie.. LOL.. Benita said "No la.. wun have another time one.. LIGHTENING WON'T STRIKE TWICE" (take note of the bold letters) upon seeing Dom holding on to his plate and eating.
So after that, we were all chatting away happily when all of a sudden! Dom looked into his empty plate and saw another drop of bird shit! OH MY GOODNESS! cuz his chopsticks were placed across the plate, Darling (who was sitting beside Dom's right hand side) and Nicholas (i think) immediately placed the pair of chopsticks across each other to form a cross. So they made it looked as thou the bird hit the target! *slaps forehead* LOL.... we were all laughing away so hard tt we couldnt even control our laughter!!! LOL...
Yea.. Benita still say Lightening won't strike twice! LOL..
Anyway, most of the people in the group had to play in the worship team. So we had to be in church by 11am to prepare. cuz we were eating at the market beside church. :) so i just stood ard and chatting with some of dear's CG mates.
Yesterday was Music sunday. So they invited Pastor Robert Solomon, a pastor from a Medodist Church in Singapore to come preach in Glory. And he preached about making music to the Lord. Indeed. Worship to our God is not just during singspiration session (or what many know it as praise and worship session). he reminded us that worship happens throughout the whole service. Right from the beggining till the end of service. He preached about choosing the right songs, with correct dotrinal meaning and theological facts.
Many times, back in my previous church, we used to clap our hands during praise and worship session. Pastor Robert Solomon however reminded us that the only person who is allowed and is able to clap is none other than God. When we sing praises unto Him, He will clap if he find our worship's pleasing to Him. If WE clap, it just goes to show that WE'RE the ones who're enjoying the music. So now, the question is, Who's supposed to enjoy the worship? ourselves? or God. Are we praising Him, or are we enjoying the music?
Pastor Robert also shared that many Christian song writers are probably not well trained or very well versed in the word of God. That is why, although, many christian song writers meant well and do not have ill intentions when writing christian songs, however, sometimes, the words or the way they phrase their sentences, if being read carefully, u realised that there is something VERY wrong with it.
During conclusion, he shared with us about an Odthodox's story:
Once, there was a pastor who was preaching in a church. However, as time goes by, lesser and lesser people turned up for service. So one day, the worship leader told the Pastor, "Since there's no one here today, let's call off worship altogether" and left. When the Pastor was standing at the pulpit, he told himself, "hey! although there was no one here for worship? But! the One whom they are worshipping IS HERE! SO.. THERE IS NO REASON TO CALL OFF WORSHIP! :) so week after week, months after month, without fail, the Pastor will sing songs and praise the Lord himself, and preach to himself. People in the town calls him crazy, or insane. But! i think he's probably one of the SANEST person in the whole town! He understood the meaning of TRUE WORSHIP! Isnt's that so true? In fact, God was so PLEASED with him that he blessed the Pastor abandantly. Till today, the number of believers in the church is massive. Just because of one man's faith and honour to the king of kings and the Lord of Lords, Our God blessed him and the church till today. Amen? :)
In fact, after so many years.. my perspective of attending church and expectations towards praise and worship had changed alot. Till yesterday, i was convinced that the Lord has His own reasons for bringing me to Glory and i will live for Him and Honour Him for the rest of my life. In Him, all things are possible.
In approximately 3 weeks time, Wenyao will be leaving for the states to further his studies. It's the beginning of a new and exciting journey for the both of us, and of course, a very challenging one as well. But! like i said, with God, everything is possible. I am sure that if God brings us to it, He will bring us through it. 4 years may seemed long to everybody. everyone had the SAME kind of reaction when i told them wenyao's leaving for the states for 4 yrs. it's ok! God has provided everything that we needed and help prepare us for this long-distance r/s. He provided good and trusted friends, family, a netbook and Himself. isn't tt good enuff? :) thou at times i'd feel pretty emotional about things.. esp when i'm alone.. but.. i still choose to trust in My God at all times. Amen? :)
Alright. That's all for now. it's a super long entry today. gotta go take a short nap first. eyes are coming near to a close. and mind's not functioning properly. bye people. to the one i love, wenyao, i love u. :-*

By the way, on the 15th of this month, which was the Wed that just passed, It was Wenyao and my 6th Month anniversary! how time flies ya? by the time it's our 7th month, the very next day, he'll be flying off to the states aldy. But! i will definitely try my best to control my tears. i know he'll be back in Dec. right. so, i'll just take this as a super long Hol. day after day, month after month. time will pass very quickly. before i knew it, he's back for good 4 yrs later! :) when he's away, i'll spend my time doing my assignments and studying for exams. after my Bach course next sept, i'll just need to wait for another 3 more yrs? :) then in the midst, i'll go apply for BSF (Bible study fellowhip) too. :)
ok.. i gtg.. ciaoz! :)
