Route to independence...

although i have been working and left to deal with my own stuff without having to keep asking my parents for help for a few years now? however, there were times when i'm still very dependent on my parents, sisters, darling and friends for help.

For example, how to get to a certain destination. esp if it comes to taking the bus. i am very bad with directions. really. but! this time round, as i was trying to find out the venue of the place where i'm going for my job interview, i had no one to turn to except to ask God to give me wisdom and several search engine.

Although, at the end of everything, i just realised that i went the long way in getting my way ard by looking at the maps? but it's alright. I was in fact FORCED to read the map and trying my best to visualise out and try to figure my way ard it. Lo and behold! i did it! not by my own strength, but by God's strength.

i did it! i did it! with God-given's wisdom! :) i could read and understand the map and know which route to take to the pre-sch centre. :)

anyway, for those who still do not know, throughout the week, i have been sending out my resume to several centres. yes. i'm thinking of leaving Julia Gabriel and teach in a normal pre-school setting (cuz JGC's an enrichment centre) where i can plan and execute out my own lesson plans and teach a class of my own. yes, there WILL be alot of things that i'll need to handle on my own tog with my assistant teachers such as changing of nappies (for the children who are still toilet training if i'm taking the toddlers' age grp), bathe the children, take care of their meals, nap time and so forth. also, there are much more responsibilities such as preparing their portfolios and put up class displays, deal with crying children, deal with difficult parents and so forth..

But, i do believe that this is the route that God wants me to go since He has led me to this career path. After doing tons and tons of assignments, practicums, readings and working experience, and plus the extra dosage of passion for children, i believe that through Him, i can touch the lives of the little ones and overcome all obstacles. If God's willing, i really do hope that i can get the job. it's near my place, and it's where i want to teach. For those who will read this before tmr, pls keep me in prayer. It's been a long long long time since i last went for an interview. Pray for journey mercy, wisdom and courage as i speak to the centre supervisor.
