yup yup.. as the title suggests, i attended CG today. but the CG that i attended is actually wenyao's CG. initially, i thought i could get a glimsp of how their CG discussion is like. however, due to some reasons, Qi Heng, the CG leader decided to call off CG discussion. instead! they had CG bonding! hahaha.. some of us met up earlier at abt 12pm at the market beside Glory Pres church for lunch before making our way down to Rose's condo for some games.
When we reached rose's condo, we were very warmly hosted by rose. she brought up a fan for us, served us cold drinks... etc. she brought us up to the pent house (very nice!!!!) though it was really warm? and Qi heng got most of the wind from the non ociliating fan, nonetheless, we had a fun time sharing abt our week with each other. There were about 13 of us altogether. despite the fact tt we were given only 3 mins ech to share abt the week, thanksgiving and prayer request, many of us needed to leave by 4pm. so instead, we didnt have time for games. but hey! that's alright! i enjoyed myself thorougly just listening to the different works God has impacted unto the lives of these young people before me. Many shared about how God has blessed them, refreshed them (Be it from church camp or mission trip), and definitely reminded them of hw good God can be to us in both good times and bad. very very inspiring and comforting. oh! and yesterday was Doreen's b'day. so we kinda celebrated for her again today. we had ice-cream! in place of a b'day cake. yummy! *slurp*
Thereafter, wenyao and i left for town. we went to Vivo city after we left rose's place. cuz there's one direct bus to harbourfront, which is where we wanted to go as well. wenyao and i decided to go "bag hunting". for him of cuz. he needed a good, not too bulky, classy and durable bag that can double up as a laptop bag for him to carry ard with ease.
after walking ard vivo and found nth, we decided to take a train down to orchard, Paragon. And lo and behold! we found his bag after a long search! very good price! we even got a free gift! another laptop bag. wenyao decided to give it to me cuz e free laptop bag definitely will not fit his 17" macbook pro. fair enough. i needed one for my netbook too! :) very generous of wenyao. and oh! oh! mummy passed me a 69 bucks Metro voucher for me to spend it off. so just nice. darling used it to purchase his bag. so he just need to top it up a little. :) God provided. see? God is so good to us right? :) do i hear an Amen? :p
After that, my leg started to hurt. the new Club Marc shoe's apparently alittle too tight for me. so we went to find a place and settled ourselves down at starbucks (our fave hang-out place) beside wheellock place and played the game, Plants Vs Zombie. very fun and exciting! and some mini stages killed LOTS of our brain cells too. needed to strategise ALOT. :) nonetheless, very fun game to play. :) alright. that's so much for today. there's church tmr. i should be in bed by now. will update u guys soon!
btw, FYI, wenyao's officially flying off to the states on the 16th Aug (1 day after our 7th- month anniversary) from T3, 2330. will DEFINITELY be seeing him off. and hopefully, he can save up enuff to fly back in dec. and then, we can celebrate our 1st yr anniversary (a little earlier thou, cuz on the actual day, he's aldy back in the states for a new term) cum christmas tog! and cool! that'll be our 2nd time celebrating christmas tog! :) looking very much forward to it. :)
